Big Special have revealed their engaging new single, ‘Dragged Up A Hill (and thrown down the other side)’. The track reveals a rarely heard softer side from the pair, with Joe Hickin’s emotionally charged vocal sitting above a droning, melancholy accompaniment dusted with the twinkle of ride cymbals. They say this is “a song written a while ago that we picked back out of our dusty drawer. It's about the old labouring days and the feeling of getting nowhere in love and work, despite the graft.
